Announcing The Wild Rift: Origin Series Championship

The Top teams from Europe, the Middle East & North Africa, Turkey & CIS come together this September for the biggest competition in Wild Rift history.

TL;DR: The Wild Rift: Origin Series Championship will be held live in Stockholm, Sweden, on September 24-26.

This September, some of the world’s top League of Legends: Wild Rift teams will come together as the Origin Series draws to a close. Get ready to watch as 6 teams from the Origin Series (3 teams from Group A, 2 from Group B, and 1 from Group C) battle it out live in Stockholm, Sweden across September 24-26.

The total prize pool for the League of Legends: Wild Rift Origin Series stands at a massive €300.000 - and the winning team from the Wild Rift: Origin Series Championship will be taking home the lion’s share of that prize. However, the road to the top spot won’t be easy, with the tournament taking place in three stages:

  • Day 1 (September 24th): Group Stage
Two groups of three teams battle it out in a Best-of-1 double round robin format. The top two teams from each group advance to the Knockout Stage.
  • Day 2 (September 25th): Knockout Stage
    A cut-throat 4-team single elimination bracket, with Best-of-5 semifinals.
  • Day 3 (September 26th): Finals
The two best teams battle in a Best-of-7 final. The first champion of the Wild Rift: Origin Series is crowned.

We’ve already seen some amazing play, and awarded over €150,000 to the top teams from the June, July, and August finals, so there’s no doubt that the Wild Rift: Origin Series Championship will deliver a top level of competition.
